Love the show. I am going to college to be a broadcaster/writer and I love boxing. This is what I want to do and I feared that I wouldnt get to do it but you guys have given me hope that boxing can be my way to make a living.

Hi Tyler. Thanks very much for your note. We’re glad you enjoy the show.
As for making a living in boxing media, I’m going to tell you what Steve Farhood told me about 25 years ago: don’t limit yourself to boxing. Be able to write and broadcast about other things too, if writing and broadcasting is what you want to do. Very few make a fulltime living in boxing media.
Thanks again.

I agree with Bill’s take on the Vitali Klitschko-Kevin Johnson fight and he is the first boing writer I have seen make the point (although it was made by Kellerman during the fight). Klitschko looked a bit discouraged and his corner very worried early in the fight. If Johnson would have done…anything…he might have been able to make it interesting. I give Haye a better chance than most against Vitali because he has a big punch as evidenced by staggering Valuev and Vitali seems to be getting old fast. Love the podcast. Please keep it up guys!
