A terrific listen…nice change from having to listen to most radio “all sports in one” commentators talk boxing! Even though I don’t follow the sport like I did pre wife & kids and am hopelessly out of “The Know” of what’s going on I can tune in to this broadcast and gets some clarity and entertainment…Thanks guys! Personal Note: Bill thanks for continuing to be “The Real Deal”!

Josh said exactly what I was going to say. There aren’t that many outlets for us hardcore boxing fans so I hope you guys continue this podcast. I am always pleased to see a new one posted on the Ring website.

Thanks for the good show guys, I know it’s not really related to the subject of the podcast but did you watch saturday’s fight between Jo Jo Dan and Selcuk Aydin? It was one of the worst robbery I have seen in years. Truly awful. Dan dominated the fight and still got robbed. Please, watch it if you can and talk about it (I know you don’t have any control over the sport but your audio show and your articles have some visibility). This kind of shit cannot go on forever!

THANKYOU for letting non-US citizens access this! I’m so grateful that whichever of you visits the Philippines will surely get someone cheering for him at the arrival area; it’s nothing like Hatton’s or Cotto’s airport parades, but it’s a start! :D

And I totally freaked out upon learning that Mr. Raskin is a LOSTIE! :D I always thought I was the only one who could like BOTH shows featuring plane crash survivors shows and half-naked athletes—with both leads similarly beating each other to death! :D So, did you still get to apply your just-ignore-the-questions/belts-and-just-enjoy-the-show principle even with that LOST finale, Mr. Raskin?

That said, it’s cool that you didn’t turn into fighters yourselves even after knowing that one watches LOST and the other abhors whatever the ignorant and mindless public loves :D I guess all those “I agree”s automatically following each exchange really help, huh? :D

Continue the great insights each time out, guys, you’re doing a good job. I especially love “Tough Questions” and “What No One is Talking About.” And, oh, easy on the intern; was she the one reading the disclaimer at the beginning of this episode? She sounds like she knows she’s going to be your resident John Ruiz. :D

Hey Bill and Eric, I enjoy your show and you do a good job. I’ve been a listener since the very beginning, which was what, like 6 months ago…. Anyway, a couple friendly suggestions that you’re free to discard:

The site should have a direct link to your show. There are times, like right now, that you have to go looking for it. I’d say it’s as important as “photos” and “videos” and certainly “Ring shop,” so it should have a link on the home page IMO.

Also, I think I get it that you need the set format/segments, which is cool, but maybe you could add a segment or an opening or summary where you just have a free commentary on whatever boxing topic you want?
